Get Better Grades Using This Quick Tip
In this article is a tip worth GOLD! It will help you get and stay ahead of your classmates accomplishments. Most people don’t think about it but once they start practicing it they wonder how come it is not taught in early grades. But I have never had anyone tell me early in my academic career what you are about to learn.
It’s all about learning and remembering more easily everything the teacher says. Have you ever gone to class and wondered what he/she was talking about? Welcome to the world of the normal! Most people find themselves trying to take notes on an unfamiliar topic or subject. Here’s the secret:
** Read Before You Go To Class **
Yes, that’s right. Reading before you go to class lets you absorb and become familiar with some of the unfamiliar concepts, ideas and keywords. You don’t have to struggle with trying to pick out the important things to take notes on –AND- wrap your head around the meaning while the teacher is moving on to the next section or topic. The note taking process actually becomes very easy. You get it the first time without having to review and read after class. There are probably other things you would rather be doing after class – duh!
Another benefit to reading before class is that you can be prepared to ask the questions you need answered so that you may more fully understand the concept. I don’t know how many times I have a question come up after class and have to take time to search for the answer or ask someone if they know the answer. You leave class with a deeper understanding of concepts and terminology.
